Filming Blog for Music Video

 On Wednesday November 24, I started filming for my music video. I met at my group members' house, and I started to get in my costume. My outfit for the video was a black shirt with a skirt, to go along with the preppy girl kind of look that I was going for. After I got ready, my group and I went to film the scenes that needed to be shot at a mall. I picked out the store that we need to go to to film the outfit scenes. This scene required fancier dresses and a nicer dressing room, and the store I picked out had all of those qualities. I made sure to pick out a nice dress that had a fluffy coat to match the typical "trying on outfits" scene that a lot of movies include. One of the dresses I picked out did not look good and didn't really fit me well either so I had to go find another dress that would work. After I filmed my scene, I was in a bit of a rush to get back home because I unfortunately had work after. I was unable to film all of the scenes that we needed, but I filmed the most important scenes for the movie. Because I had to leave early, my group and I had to figure out another day that we would be able to film. Even though I had a small amount of time to film on that day, I felt like I did a good job of getting everything done that I need to finish. For the next filming day, I am going to try and finish the pool scene and the sleepover scene. Because everyone in my group has such a busy schedule, it was difficult to find a day that would work for everyone, so the next day that we film, I am going to make sure that we do not fool around since we have a small amount of time to film. Hopefully everything will go as planned.

Production Blog: filming my scene

 Today, I am going to be filming the scenes with only me in them. Julie came over after school to help me film some of the parts. When I got home, I went to go change into my clothes for the scenes. I was wearing a bright pink top with jeans. we started off with me walking through the door of my house. I went outside the door and Julie filmed me walking in. During this scene, it was only me so you I didn't have much dialogue. Julie and I filmed the rest of the shots that I need for the scene by myself. Since I didn't have much dialogue, I had to make sure that my facial expressions where good so that the audience could still have an idea about what was going on in the scene. Filming these scenes weren't too hard. I would say the toughest part of this process was getting the right angle.
