Changes made from film review

Today, I made any changes that I was told to be fixed on our film. Somethings that I needed to change where the audio, lighting, and appearance/acting. I decided to first start with the audio. I tried editing the video to make the characters voice be louder then the surrounding sounds (such as wind). The only thing I could really fix where adjusting the volume. This did help a little, but you could still kind of hear background noises. I might see if there is something else to do, but I don't think we will have enough time to refilm some of those shots. The next thing I had to work on was the lighting. While filming our night shots, I made sure to focus on being able to see the character in the shot. I used the flashlight on my phone as the lighting. To get the most natural lighting, I held my phone up pretty high, and far away from the actor on the lowest setting. This looked pretty natural, and also made it easy to see the actor. The next thing that I worked on was the acting. F

Filming at Night

Today, my group and I had a plan to finally film our night scenes. The plan was for me to meet Sofia, pick her up, then bring her over to Kaitlyns. This was the best plan because Sofia and Kaitlyn live pretty close. I live pretty far from them, so I drove up there around 7:30 pm, so I would get there right when it gets dark. It was a really nice drive up there because it was sunset, and it was super pretty. Once I got to Sofia's house, it was pretty dark out, so the filming part should be perfect. Once I got Sofia, we drove to Kaitlyns. When we arrived at Kaitlyns, she told us that because her house is white, and it would look weird in the background, that we should just go down the street. We pulled into a pretty empty street that ended up being a really good spot. One of the scenes where Kaitlyn was walking, there was supposed to be a noise to add suspense. I decided to move the bushes to make it seem as something was there. While filming that scene, we thought it would make mor

Film Review

So today we where tasked with doing the film review. I decided to ask one of my friends, Hannah, who happens to sit next to me in my media class. Even though we where not completely finished, I still had a lot of our film to show her. I was a little nervous to show her because I haven't shown anyone else our project. She first said how she like the opening scene. Our opening scene was a news report, done by one of our friends Lauren. Hannah said that she thought the costume and makeup looked pretty realistic to what an actual news reporter would wear. She said that the next few scenes where good, and that she liked the different transitions we used. One thing that she did tell us was that we should try to make the audio of the character be a little louder. This was something that I wanted to do because I felt like in some scenes, it was hard to hear the character, and the the sounds from the environment where louder. The last few scenes where filmed at night time. Hannah said to t
