Into Blog for Final Task
Hi my name is Camille Keith, and I am in 10th grade. I decided to take AICE Media Studies to learn more about filming, and all the work that goes behind it. I hope to learn really good tips on how to film well, and understand the basics of filming. A little background information on me is that I was born in California, and then two years later, I moved to New Orleans. I lived there for four years, and then moved to Florida, and I have been here for around 10 years. I used to play volleyball and soccer, but my main focus is dance. I have been dancing for 10 years, and hope to be doing it for longer. This is another reason that I am interested in AICE Media is because I do have interests in the arts, especially because I to dance, and have been playing piano for 10 years as well. I have my mom, dad, a sister, and a dog, all of which I love very much. I am lucky to have such a kind and caring family, because unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with that. I am a pretty independent person, so I do not need my parents to push me to try my hardest, or to get good grades in school. I feel that doing well in school gives me validation, which motivates me to push myself harder. Some goals that I have in school is to get straight A's, have a good relationship with my class mates and teachers, and also enjoy it. Some goals that I have in AICE media studies is to learn and understand all of the work/mechanic to goes behind filming, and hopefully be good at it. Some of my favorite movies are the Lorax, All the Bright Places, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and most Disney Movies. One of my favorite horror movies is The Blair Witch Project. One of the main reasons I liked this movie is because it was filmed to seem as a documentary, but it was not. This made the movie more scary because it seemed like it was real. Hopefully this class will help me make clips like that, or at least understand the work behind it. I am really excited to participate in this class, and I hope it will be fun. I hope to l earn a lot in the class, and maybe even be something that I be interested in to do later in life.
