Short Film Research (Kiss Chase/Drama)

 This 14 minute film introduces an 11 year old girl who is coming of age and is looking to find herself. The Common Sound in this film is Dialogue, voiceover, ambient sound, diegetic and non-diegetic sound are frequently seen in dramas. In drama movies, music also has a significant function because it conveys to the spectator the appropriate emotions The Common Costumes are frequently reflecting their personalities. For instance, a character with a melancholy temperament would most likely be wearing clothing of a darker color, but a character with a pleasant disposition would do so. However the teenagers wear bright colors Common lighting: Dim lighting lends an air of drama and mystery. Key lighting describes the primary source of illumination. Typically, it is the brightest and casts shadows. Common Drama Makeup in this film consists of makeup used in dramas depending on the plot, the location, and the characters. For instance, if the play is about high school students, they would probably wear minimal makeup to draw attention to their age, which is the case.  The Common settings used in this fllm include households, schools, and large cities. Flashbacks that provide the audience with a solid backstory to help them better understand the movie are frequent editing techniques. I enjoy how plays provide us the freedom to be inventive with the subject matter of the plot. I also admire how dramas frequently convey important messages to the viewers and frequently depict universal human emotions.I feel like a lot of dramas contain messages that are similar to one another, which can be challenging when attempting to be innovative with your film.
