Production Blog: change of plans

This week I had a plan of studying the scenes where I am at my house, putting together my plan on how I can embarrass Macie. I had a free weekend, so I thought it would be a good idea to film. On Friday, I noticed at school that I was feeling a little off. I had to go get a shot after school at the doctors office, and for the rest of the day, I was wasn't feeling 100%. I woke up on Saturday feeling worst then yesterday. I took my temperature and I had a slight fever. I was definitely not up to filming today, nor did I look good to be filmed. I was pretty upset about not being able to film because I really want to get more parts of my film finished, and I do not want to be cramming everything in last minute. March is a busy month for the students at myself school, especially juniors. We have our SAT, and a lot of school work that we have to focus on, and the closer we get to the end of the year, the closer we get to testing time. I was hoping that I would feel better Sunday, but unfortunately I did not, so I decided that this weekend was not going to workout for me. I decided that it would be best if I filmed either sometime next weekend or one day after school when I feel up to it. Getting sick definitely step me back and messed up my plans. I feel myself getting more stressed over this project. I really want to finish it, but I do not want to be rushed either. I feel like if we rush to finish the film, it won't turn out as good as I hoped for. I feel that whenever I rush a project, you can tell that it was rushed. I have high hopes for my film and I really want it to turn out well. My plan is to get lots of rest so I feel better and hopefully I won't have to miss school. I will make sure to try and film on a day that I have free time, whether it will be after school or on the weekend. Luckily, my scene isn't too long, so I should be able to find time to film.
