Getting my costume and makeup ready for film

Today, I started to film some of the shots for our project. Because I am supposed to be dead, there is not much filming that I will need to do. Before I filmed I had to get my costume and makeup ready. My costume is going to be a ripped up t-shirt that is dirty, with most likely shorts. My group member Kaitlyn ended up finding a shirt that she ripped up, and it turned out good. After I got my costume put together, I wanted to focus on makeup. Since I am dead, I looked up "dead looking makeup."It came up with a lot of good ideas. Most of the looks included pale makeup, with very dark eye "bags" and defined facial structures such as cheekbones or collarbones. Since I am not very good at doing makeup, I wanted to practice doing different looks to see which ones I liked the best, and to get some practice. Luckily, since I'm dead, it doesn't have to look perfect. For my hair, I decided that I will probably wear it down, but will make it look very knotty. I looked up some inspiration, and a lot of the pictures had their hair look very fizzy and dirty. Some of them even made their hair look gray. The scenes that I needed to be filmed where going to include my other group members. Unfortunately, they where unable to meet to film, so I decided to use this day as a practice day. I sent my group member a picture of the final costume and makeup look to make sure everything that I was doing was what they wanted as well. Both of my group members said that it looked good. Hopefully I will be able to film my scene soon, and then I can help Sofia and Kaitlyn out if they need any parts filmed. Since Kaitlyn and Sofia live much closer to each other than I do, they will be able to get much more of the filming done. This will definitely help our group since we all have busy schedule. It will make this project be much more manageable and easier to get done.
